I have been in the insurance business for over 16 years. I began my insurance career with a large fraternal insurance company as an insurance agent and later as a General Agent. During that time, I had the privilege of providing my clients with over $100,000,000 of protection as well as providing services for retirement planning and long-term care.

Before selling insurance, I served in the US Navy and later worked at Honeywell for 28 years in production control. While at Honeywell, I was loaned for a year to work with Denver and Aurora Public Schools and various corporations to form Colorado Combined Industries, a non-profit organization designed to teach disadvantaged and handicapped students work ethics.

Currently, I serve on the board of directors for local credit union. I have served as secretary for the Mile Hi Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, president of the Denver Association for Retarded Citizens, and vice-president for of Colorado Combined Industries. I have been on the Special Education Advisory Board for Denver Public Schools, served as a committee member for PAVE, an organization that provides vocational training for mentally handicapped citizens, and assisted with the development of Respite Care for families with a mentally handicapped member.

I have been married for 40 plus years. Have four children and six grandchildren.
